Since 1993, two weekends a year goths from all over the country and abroad decend on the seaside town of whitby, famed as the place dracula came ashore in bram stokers novel.
There are many goth sub cultures such as edwardian, victorian and androgynous goths to name a few. Influences such as punk and BDSM are frequently aparent.
